Through my career, creating memorable customer experiences has been at the forefront of my job duty, with an emphasis on customer service and relationship building. This skill set has allowed to operate several successful business ventures around the world, and opened the door to exciting opportunities helping to grow amazing brands.
My background is in Graphic Design, with a Bachelor of Design from Ryerson University. I've worked in events, communication and public relations, for large firms like the Toronto Stock Exchange and Brookfield Properties. I lived in Italy for a couple years where I pursued an amazing job producing fashion show for Costume National, and also started Baked, catering North American style baked goods like cupcake, apple pie and cheesecakes all over Milan. This was my first foray into entrepreneurship, and I never looked back.
Upon returning to Canada I threw myself into the private event world, producing weddings, kids birthday parties, and fundraisers. I also began consulting with local brands, assisting with marketing, public relations, branding, design and web development. This gently transitioned into film and television production, where I also have the pleasure to use my creativity and experience in both the Wardrobe department, and the Art Department, in addition to Production Management.
I am an outgoing team-player with a drive for delivering outstanding experiences. A diverse career has allowed for the development of an arsenal of skills that empower a team. My core assets are being flexible, enthusiastic and resourceful. I look forward to demonstrating my unwaivering optimism and creativity in any environment I get to be a part of!
Find me every Saturday enjoying the sunshine and feeding the people, at the Nelson Farmers Market in Cottonwood Falls, where I run Scone Alone, a sweet and savoury scone booth.
